“Intervals of Pause” was a collection created during the pandemic, a time when many of us were wrestling with a new way of being in the world. Many of us were on pause; sometimes pauses can bring discomfort, and sometimes pauses can bring a state of calm and recentering. This painting captures the moment when the perception of pause switches over from restless to restful.
